Description

During my time spent at the Guildhall at SMU, I got the opportunity to intern at Gearbox Software in Plano, TX. While the internship was relatively short, I got a chance to work with and learn from an experienced team of developers. I was also able to contribute to the project by assisting other level designers by fixing bugs and making test levels for use by other departments.

Roles

  • Fixed various bugs across multiple singleplayer maps.
  • Created test maps for other developers to use when troubleshooting certain features (Weapons and AI).
  • Cooked and tested levels on the Xbox 360 to test level streaming and optimization.
  • Scripted basic objective system in 3 singleplayer maps.
